About RetroRadio

RetroRadio is an old-fashioned FM dial for five decades of music. Each decade has its own band on the dial, and each band has five stations by genre: rock, pop, hip-hop and R&B, country, dance and more. Drag the dial, press Seek, tap a decade button or pick a station from the guide. Between stations you'll hear static until a signal comes in.

Where the music comes from

RetroRadio doesn't host any music. Each station plays a free internet radio station straight from that station's own servers, such as 181.fm, or a live station found in the community-run Radio Browser directory. The station you're hearing is always named on screen under "On air", with a link to its home page. Those stations handle their own music licensing and may play their own announcements.
